The TG/PS Education District II office has begun active monitoring of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to ensure a smooth and credible exam process across schools in the district.
The exercise, led by district supervisors under the Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), involves unannounced visits to examination centres. The monitors are checking that all protocols, such as proper seating arrangements, exam time adherence, and strict anti-malpractice measures, are being followed. The aim is to uphold the integrity and fairness of the exams.
OEQA Director confirmed that similar monitoring activities are ongoing across other districts in Lagos State. The initiative reflects a statewide effort to strengthen oversight, reduce examination misconduct, and maintain high educational standards.
