As preparations intensify for the highly anticipated Lagos Investment Summit 2.0, Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, Mrs. Folashade Bada Ambrose, hosted a strategic pre-event meeting with key stakeholders in her office on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
The Summit, designed as a lead-in to the Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) organized by the Sterling One Foundation, is expected to attract over 500 impact investors to Lagos. The event will be held at Eko Hotels, Victoria Island on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
In attendance at the preparatory meeting were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih; Permanent Secretary of MCCTI, Dr. Olugbemiga Aina; CEO of Sterling One Foundation, Mrs. Peju Ibekwe, and other high-ranking officials and partners.
Commissioner Bada Ambrose reiterated the Sanwo-Olu administration’s commitment to driving sustainable economic growth and social impact through strategic investment engagements. She noted that the Lagos Investment Summit 2.0 will provide a powerful platform for fostering partnerships that align with the T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda, especially in innovation, infrastructure, and inclusive development.
“This summit is more than a meeting, it’s a movement to deepen investment in initiatives that will shape a prosperous and sustainable future for Lagos and the broader African continent,” she said.
The Lagos Investment Summit 2.0 aims to showcase the state’s investment readiness while mobilizing capital for projects that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
