Lagos Lands Bureau Organises Three-Day Teamwork Retreat for Senior Staff

Lagos, Nigeria – June 11, 2025
The Lagos State Lands Bureau has commenced a three-day retreat aimed at strengthening teamwork and enhancing operational efficiency among its senior staff.

The retreat, which kicked off on Monday at a resort in Epe, brings together directors, deputy directors, and other top-level personnel of the Bureau for strategic engagement, capacity building, and collaborative planning.

Speaking at the opening session, the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau, Mr. Bode Agoro, said the initiative is part of the state government’s commitment to improving public service delivery through effective leadership, communication, and coordination within MDAs.

“This retreat is designed not only to foster better interdepartmental synergy but also to reinforce the importance of teamwork in achieving the Bureau’s land administration goals,” Agoro stated.

Participants will undergo workshops facilitated by human resource experts, focusing on conflict resolution, shared vision development, and process optimization. There will also be breakout sessions to address current challenges facing land administration in Lagos and to propose sustainable solutions.

The event is expected to end on Wednesday with actionable resolutions that would be integrated into the Bureau’s strategic roadmap for the second half of 2025.
