Lagos, Nigeria – June 14, 2025
The Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI), Lagos State, has commenced the integration of the Multi-Agency Central Staff Inventory (MACSI) into the workforce planning and recruitment processes of 18 state parastatals.
According to the Permanent Secretary of OTCI, Mrs. Toyin Awoseyi, the move is part of a broader initiative aimed at ensuring efficiency, transparency, and data-driven human resource management within the Lagos State Public Service.
Speaking during a stakeholder engagement session held in Alausa, Ikeja, Mrs. Awoseyi stated that the integration of MACSI will help eliminate duplication of roles, identify staffing gaps, and promote equitable talent deployment across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The 18 parastatals selected for the initial phase include key agencies in infrastructure, transportation, health, and education. The MACSI framework is expected to be rolled out to all remaining MDAs by the end of 2025.
The initiative aligns with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ agenda, especially in the area of public sector reforms and capacity development.
