Lagos PHC Board Denies Ongoing Recruitment Exercise, Urges Public to Disregard Fake Notice

Lagos, July 18, 2025 — The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) has officially debunked a viral notice circulating on social media platforms claiming the commencement of a recruitment exercise into the agency.

In a public statement released on Friday, the Board described the announcement as false and misleading, warning unsuspecting members of the public to disregard any information not emanating from official government sources.

“The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board is not conducting any recruitment exercise at this time. The general public is advised to ignore any such information being shared across social media or unofficial websites,” the statement read.

The Board emphasized that any future job vacancies will be publicly advertised through approved government communication channels, including the official website of the Lagos State Government and national dailies.

Officials further cautioned against falling prey to fraudulent individuals who may attempt to exploit job seekers through the spread of fake notices and unauthorized payment requests. They urged the public to report any suspicious activities or solicitations to appropriate security agencies.

The LSPHCB reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and professionalism in all human resource processes while assuring Lagosians of its continuous efforts to strengthen the state’s primary healthcare system.
