Lagos State Government Launches MDA-Assisted Creativity Solution Initiative to Enhance Service Delivery

Lagos, Nigeria – June 2025
In a strategic move to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), the Lagos State Government has officially launched the MDA-Assisted Creativity Solution Initiative.

The initiative, unveiled by the Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI), is aimed at harnessing internal talent within government establishments to develop creative solutions that enhance public service delivery, promote accountability, and reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks.

Speaking at the launch, the Director-General of OTCI, Mr. Toba Otusanya, emphasized the need for public sector reform through innovation, urging MDAs to leverage the platform to proffer ideas that are people-centered and results-driven.

He added that the initiative is part of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda, which prioritizes technology, innovation, and human capital development as tools for transformational governance.

The program will feature workshops, ideation labs, inter-agency collaboration, and periodic evaluations to track impact and reward outstanding contributions from public servants.

This move reinforces Lagos State’s status as a trailblazer in public sector innovation, aiming to build a government that is not only efficient but also responsive to the evolving needs of its citizens.
