The Lagos State Government has announced that the harmonised academic calendar for the 2025/2026 school year will be finalised and made public within the next two weeks.
The Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, made this known while addressing journalists in Alausa, Ikeja, on the State’s preparations for the upcoming academic session. She noted that the calendar would align all public and private schools under a unified schedule to promote consistency, effective planning, and smooth academic operations across all institutions in the state.
According to her, the harmonisation process is in its final stages, involving consultations with key stakeholders in the education sector to ensure inclusivity and compliance with national standards.
She assured parents, school administrators, and students that the Lagos State Ministry of Education remains committed to maintaining excellence in academic delivery and improving learning outcomes across all levels.
