Marquis Concierge Commences Practical Training for 2025 Hajj Pilgrims

In a move to ensure spiritual preparedness and logistical ease for its intending pilgrims, Marquis Concierge has officially begun a series of practical demonstrations for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage. The training sessions, which commenced over the weekend in Lagos, are part of the company’s commitment to delivering a seamless and spiritually fulfilling experience for Nigerian Muslims embarking on the sacred journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Managing Director of Marquis Concierge, Alhaji Idris Lawal, noted that the exercise is designed to familiarise pilgrims with the intricate rites of Hajj, enabling them to perform the pilgrimage with confidence and according to Islamic prescriptions. “Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam, and it is essential that our pilgrims understand the rituals, procedures, and expectations before setting foot in the Holy Land,” he stated.

The training covers core components of the pilgrimage such as the Ihram (state of consecration), Tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba), Sa’i (walking between Safa and Marwah), Wuquf at Arafat, symbolic stoning at Jamaraat, and other rites. Practical demonstrations are led by experienced Islamic scholars and Hajj guides with years of experience coordinating pilgrimages.

Pilgrims were taken through a simulated Hajj environment where each rite was explained in detail, including its historical and spiritual significance. Participants were also briefed on travel arrangements, accommodation logistics, health protocols, and safety precautions in line with the Saudi authorities’ guidelines.

One of the intending pilgrims, Hajia Fatimah AbdulKareem, expressed gratitude for the hands-on training. “I’ve read about Hajj many times, but seeing and practising it here gives me great confidence. I now feel mentally and spiritually ready,” she said.

Marquis Concierge, which has built a reputation for providing premium Hajj and Umrah services, emphasised that beyond the rituals, pilgrims are also being guided on appropriate etiquette, group conduct, and emergency response plans.

With over 1.8 million Muslims expected to participate in the 2025 Hajj globally, including thousands from Nigeria, such proactive training is seen as vital to reducing errors during rites and ensuring pilgrims get the full reward of the holy journey.

As the 2025 Hajj draws nearer, KIIN360 will continue to monitor and report on developments concerning Nigerian pilgrims and the agencies supporting their sacred voyage.
