Masjid Al-Nabawi Officials Welcome First Batch of Pilgrims Returning from Makkah After Hajj

Authorities at the Presidency of Religious Affairs in Masjid Al-Nabawi have officially received the first group of pilgrims arriving from Makkah after completing this year’s Hajj rites. The reception, which took place at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, marks a significant spiritual transition for the pilgrims, as they continue their sacred journey with visits to one of Islam’s holiest sites.

The pilgrims, having fulfilled the core obligations of Hajj—including Tawaf, Sa’i, standing at Arafat, and the symbolic stoning of the devil at Mina—proceeded to Madinah to offer prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque, regarded as the second holiest site in Islam. This movement traditionally follows the conclusion of Hajj, as millions of Muslims seek to complete their pilgrimage by visiting the resting place of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Officials of the Religious Affairs Presidency were on ground to receive the faithful with hospitality and care, ensuring that all necessary arrangements were in place for a seamless continuation of their spiritual experience. Enhanced logistical and spiritual services have been activated at the Prophet’s Mosque to accommodate the influx of pilgrims from different parts of the world.

The leadership of the Presidency reaffirmed its commitment to providing a spiritually uplifting and well-organised environment for all visitors. This year’s reception is part of a broader operational strategy aimed at delivering efficient crowd management, maintaining hygiene standards, and offering religious guidance to ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims throughout their stay in Madinah.

The successful transition of pilgrims from Makkah to Madinah underscores the Saudi authorities’ sustained efforts to ensure the safety, convenience, and spiritual fulfillment of all who embark on the sacred pilgrimage. As more groups are expected to arrive in the coming days, the Presidency continues to oversee all arrangements with meticulous attention to both religious and administrative detail.
