The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has commenced an intensive rappellers recurrency training programme for its troops stationed in Kaduna, aimed at enhancing operational readiness and safety during airborne missions.
The training, held at the NAF Base Kaduna, focuses on refreshing and upgrading the rappelling skills of participating personnel to ensure proficiency in various tactical scenarios. Instructors emphasised adherence to safety protocols while simulating different environmental conditions and mission requirements.
NAF officials noted that the recurrency training is part of ongoing efforts to maintain high standards of physical fitness and technical competence among air force operatives. The programme also serves to prepare troops for rapid deployment in response to security challenges across the country.
Participants expressed appreciation for the training, highlighting its importance in boosting confidence and effectiveness during airborne operations. The Nigerian Air Force reiterated its commitment to continuous professional development as a cornerstone of national defence.
