NAHCON Advance Team Departs for Saudi Arabia Ahead of 2025 Hajj

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced that its advance team has departed Abuja for Saudi Arabia today, Monday, May 5, 2025, to commence preparations for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage. The team’s early deployment is part of NAHCON’s strategy to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated operation for Nigerian pilgrims.

The advance team comprises key personnel from various departments, including medical, operational, and logistical experts. Their responsibilities include finalizing accommodation arrangements, coordinating with Saudi authorities, and ensuring that all necessary facilities and services are in place for the arrival of Nigerian pilgrims.

This proactive approach underscores NAHCON’s commitment to providing a secure and efficient pilgrimage experience for all Nigerian pilgrims. The Commission has assured that all arrangements are on track to commence airlifts to Saudi Arabia on May 9, 2025, with the aim to conclude the airlift operations by May 24, 2025. Return flights are scheduled to begin on June 13, 2025, and conclude by July 2, 2025.

NAHCON has also emphasized the importance of collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure the success of the 2025 Hajj operations. The Commission remains dedicated t⁰o providing a spiritually fulfilling and well-organized experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
