The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, has expressed immense satisfaction over the successful execution of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, commending all stakeholders for their coordination and commitment.
In a post-Hajj briefing, Prof. Usman described the 2025 operations as one of the most well-organized and seamless pilgrimages in recent years, citing improvements in logistics, accommodation, welfare, and medical support for Nigerian pilgrims.
He also appreciated the efforts of the Saudi authorities, Nigerian state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, and the medical and support teams for their roles in ensuring a smooth experience for over 95,000 Nigerian pilgrims.
Prof. Usman pledged that the commission will build on the gains recorded this year and begin early preparations for the 2026 Hajj to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
