NAHCON Invites Pilgrims to Submit Complaints and Feedback on 2025 Hajj, Begins Review Process

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), operating under the Presidency, has announced the commencement of a comprehensive review of the 2025 Hajj and Umrah operations. In a public notice issued by the Commission’s management, NAHCON has called on all pilgrims who either participated in or intended to take part in this year’s spiritual exercises to come forward with any complaints, suggestions, or comments concerning the services they received during the pilgrimage.

This initiative is part of NAHCON’s statutory mandate to regulate, supervise, and oversee the activities of organizations and service providers involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of Hajj and Umrah in Nigeria. The Commission is particularly interested in receiving feedback on the performance of tour operators, airlines, cargo handlers, caterers, accommodation service providers, and state Muslim pilgrims’ welfare boards or agencies. Such feedback, the Commission said, is essential to inform decisions regarding license renewals or possible sanctions where necessary.

According to the Commission, the objective of this exercise is to ensure continued improvement in the quality of services offered to Nigerian pilgrims. It is also intended to bolster transparency, accountability, and regulatory oversight in future Hajj operations, particularly ahead of the 2026 pilgrimage season.

NAHCON further noted that submissions should be made in writing and must include the sender’s full name and address. Complaints or suggestions may be sent via mail to the Commission’s headquarters located at Plot 991/992 Zakariya Maimalari Street, Central Business District, Abuja, or through any of the following official email addresses: info@nigeriahajjcom.gov.ng, nahcon2006info@gmail.com, or nahconoperations@gmail.com. Complainants may also copy their emails to Muhammad.ahmad@nahcon.gov.ng.

For additional convenience, the Commission has provided an official WhatsApp number: +2349071800007, where concerned stakeholders can reach out. NAHCON has set a deadline of August 31, 2025, for all submissions.

In its appeal, the Commission reiterated its openness to receiving ideas and constructive feedback from all stakeholders, including members of the public, with the aim of making future Hajj and Umrah experiences smoother, safer, and more spiritually fulfilling for Nigerian pilgrims.
