Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has called on school alumni associations across the state to support their alma maters in order to complement government efforts in making education more accessible to residents.
The governor made the appeal on Saturday in Lafia while inaugurating multi-million-naira infrastructure projects executed by the Lafia Old Students Association, the alumni body of Government Science School, Lafia. He praised the association’s contributions to educational growth and community development, noting that such interventions ease the government’s burden and accelerate progress in the sector.
Sule reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to backing initiatives that promote learning, unity, and socio-economic development, stressing that collaboration between alumni groups and the government remains key to achieving sustainable educational advancement.
