NASFAT Commemorates Children’s Day 2025: Reaffirms Commitment to Holistic Child Development

The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has formally joined the national celebration of Children’s Day 2025, issuing a powerful and reflective message centered on this year’s theme, “Little Footsteps, Big Future.” The Society used the occasion to underline its enduring commitment to the growth, wellbeing, and empowerment of children across Nigeria and beyond.

In its commemorative message, NASFAT described children as the radiant light of every society, noting that their presence inspires hope and their curiosity fuels knowledge. The organisation emphasized that children are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also crucial contributors to the progress of society today. NASFAT reaffirmed that it views children as sacred trusts, divine gifts entrusted to adults for nurturing, guidance, and development.

Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, President of NASFAT, extended sincere congratulations to children nationwide. He used the occasion to highlight NASFAT’s ongoing efforts in child-focused initiatives, which include Islamic weekend schools, leadership clubs, and structured educational support programs. These initiatives, he noted, are part of the society’s broader mission to raise children who are spiritually conscious, intellectually sound, and morally upright.

In a deeply spiritual reflection, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, Chief Missioner of NASFAT, offered heartfelt prayers on behalf of the Society. He prayed that Almighty Allah bestows divine guidance, longevity, good health, and unwavering faith (Imaan) on every child. He also prayed that their footsteps remain firmly aligned with truth, beneficial knowledge, and righteous conduct.

The message concluded with a stirring affirmation from NASFAT: that the footsteps taken by children today, though small, are meaningful strides toward a future rich with promise, potential, and purpose.

The statement was signed by Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni, the National Public Relations Secretary of NASFAT, who expressed the Society’s pride and hope in the new generation, reiterating that NASFAT will continue to invest in the holistic development of every child under its care.
