The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has officially commissioned its Youth Information Technology Centre (NASYITEC) in a grand opening ceremony held on Thursday, August 29, 2025.
The event, which took place at NASFAT Headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja, attracted key stakeholders, youth representatives, community leaders, and tech enthusiasts. The commissioning marks a significant milestone in NASFAT’s commitment to youth empowerment through digital literacy and technology access.
Speaking at the event, NASFAT President Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid emphasized the importance of equipping young Nigerians with practical digital skills. “This centre is a testament to our belief that the future belongs to those who are digitally empowered. NASYITEC will serve as a springboard for young talents to access training in ICT, coding, and other relevant skills for the modern economy,” he said.
The centre features modern computer workstations, high-speed internet, and structured learning programs aimed at addressing the digital divide among youth, especially within underserved communities.Other dignitaries present included the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam AbdulAzeez Morufu Onike, and several representatives of partner organizations who lauded the initiative and pledged continued support for youth development programs.
The launch of NASYITEC is part of NASFAT’s broader strategic plan to integrate education, technology, and faith-based values to uplift Nigerian youths and foster socioeconomic growth.
