NASFAT Delegation Meets Ogun Deputy Governor Ahead of 30th Anniversary Lecture

In a show of strategic engagement and forward-looking collaboration, a high-powered delegation from NASFAT (Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society) paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Deputy Governor of Ogun State, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

The delegation was led by Engr. Kamar Olawuyi, NASFAT Vice President, and included Alhaji Oshinuga (Chairman, 30th Anniversary Planning Committee), Alhaja Haleemah Ojediran and Alhaja Hasfat Aralepo (Women Management HQ), Hajia Tawakkaltu Morenikeji Hammed (National Youth Representative), Alhaja Basirat Taoreed, Alhaja Oduwaiye (ZWAS Ogun Zone), Alhaji Lukman Ashifat, Imam Abdullahi Ibrahim, and Alhaja Balogun.

The visit focused on key discussions around the upcoming NASFAT 30th Anniversary Lecture and explored areas of partnership with the Ogun State Government. Her Excellency, Engr. Salako-Oyedele, warmly received the delegation and shared her personal connection with NASFAT, recalling her long-standing association with Mama Simbiat Agabalajobi, a revered matriarch within the society.

NASFAT used the occasion to present its 30-year strategic outlook, highlighting core pillars such as succession planning, sustainability, leadership development, and youth empowerment. Particular emphasis was placed on the society’s commitment to attracting and retaining Gen Z and younger demographics through technology-driven outreach and social media engagement.

In response to the Deputy Governor’s charge to carry the youth along in shaping NASFAT’s future, Engr. Olawuyi outlined two major focus areas: sustainable succession and financial independence. He also presented details of NASFAT’s proposed development project at Asese, seeking governmental support and collaboration.

The visit strengthened institutional ties and opened fresh opportunities for strategic partnerships aimed at advancing NASFAT’s mission of spiritual upliftment, social development, and national relevance.
