A business expert and innovator Ummulkhayr Adeleke Lawal has called on government at all levels to prioritize empowering the youth and women through maximum support for SMEs to eradicate poverty and boost economic development.
Hajia Adeleke reiterated this while addressing News men at the NASFAT economic and empowerment program that took place at the Lagos state Secretariat mosque Alausa ikeja earlier today 24th August 2025.
Also during her keynote address, she highlighted some basic principles that makes any business or skills become enviable and the business owners on top of the people’s agenda on daily basis.
Among the principles highlighted so far ranges from, starting a business where you are, which means to start small and grow bigger, she also mentioned that it is pertinent to identify your market as well as managing available resources wisely to remain relevant in the market.
Other principles of a successful business according to the speaker are record keeping to guide against misappropriation of funds , mentorship and networking can never be overemphasized for an unprecedented growth of such business, while innovation is a key principle to retain customers and gain prospectives customers she cap her examples of these principles of greatness with faith and steadfastness in prayers adding that only Allah crowns all human efforts.
She added that the efficacy of prayer is a major strength of any successful business men and women.
