NASFAT Issues Strict Directive: Laylatul-Qadr Programs Centralized, Branches Warned Against Independent Events

The Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has issued a directive emphasizing strict adherence to its established policies regarding the organization of Laylatul-Qadr programs. This comes in response to reports of certain branches planning individual events, which contravene the Society’s constitution.

According to NASFAT’s policy, Laylatul-Qadr programs are to be centralized:

  • National Level: Zones within Lagos and Ogun States are to participate in the national program held at the headquarters in Aseese.
  • Zonal Level: Zones outside Lagos and Ogun States are authorized to conduct their own programs at the zonal level.

Branches organizing separate Laylatul-Qadr events are in direct violation of these guidelines. The Society cautions all Imams against engaging in activities that breach the constitution, noting that missioners found in default will face penalties.

To accommodate members seeking spiritual engagement during Ramadan, especially in the last ten days, Imams are encouraged to mobilize their congregations for the national Laylatul-Qadr program at Aseese or the respective zonal events. Branches and groups are also urged to explore alternative methods to maintain an active spiritual connection with their members during this period.

NASFAT expresses gratitude for the cooperation of all Imams and prays for the blessings of Laylatul-Qadr upon the Society.

This directive was issued by Abdul-Ganiyy Raji, National Da’wah Officer and National Mission Board Secretary, on Wednesday, 26th March 2025.
