Abuja, Nigeria – June 16, 2025
The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) is set to host the Nigeria PPP Summit 2025 from June 17 to June 18 in Abuja, as part of national efforts to accelerate infrastructure delivery through public-private partnerships under the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration.
The summit, themed “Unlocking Investments for Sustainable Infrastructure”, will convene top government leaders, global investors, development partners, and infrastructure experts to discuss strategies for enhancing private sector participation in key sectors such as transportation, power, healthcare, housing, and technology.
According to the ICRC, the summit aims to showcase investment-ready projects and create a platform for deal-making, networking, and policy alignment. It will also spotlight success stories from existing PPP initiatives and explore new financing models that can boost Nigeria’s infrastructure growth.
“This summit is a strategic step toward building resilient infrastructure systems and attracting long-term capital to meet our development needs,” said Joe Aniku Ohiani, Director-General of the ICRC.
The event is expected to strengthen investor confidence, harmonize regulatory frameworks, and align project pipelines with national priorities under the Renewed Hope Infrastructure Framework. Participants will include state governors, ministers, international finance institutions, and private sector CEOs.
The Nigeria PPP Summit has become a critical platform for shaping policy reforms and closing Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit, which experts estimate at over $100 billion.
