Thousands of Nigerian pilgrims participating in the 2025 Hajj exercise have successfully arrived at their designated tents in Mina, marking a key phase in the annual pilgrimage.
The pilgrims, who were transported in organized batches from Makkah earlier today, will spend the day resting and engaging in spiritual reflection ahead of the most significant rite of Hajj, the Day of Arafah, which is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, June 5, 2025.
Officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), alongside service providers such as Mashariq Al Dhahabia, confirmed that logistics and accommodation arrangements had been effectively implemented to ensure a smooth stay in Mina.
In Mina, pilgrims are expected to observe prayers and prepare mentally and physically for the gathering at the plains of Arafah, a rite considered the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Nigerian Hajj mission has reiterated its commitment to the welfare and safety of pilgrims throughout the exercise, urging them to stay hydrated, comply with health guidelines, and remain spiritually focused.
Tomorrow’s observance at Arafah will be followed by other key rituals including Muzdalifah, stoning at Jamarat, and the symbolic sacrifice.
