Chowdeck, a Nigerian food delivery startup, has successfully raised $9 million in a Series A funding round aimed at accelerating its expansion across multiple cities in Nigeria and the broader West African region.

The funding round was led by prominent venture capital firms, including Pan-African tech investors and international backers, who expressed confidence in Chowdeck’s innovative platform and rapid growth trajectory.

Founded in 2022, Chowdeck offers a seamless food ordering and delivery service, leveraging advanced logistics technology to connect customers with a wide range of restaurants and eateries. The startup plans to deploy the new capital to enhance its technology infrastructure, increase market penetration, and improve customer experience.

CEO Adeola Olajide highlighted that the funding will also support hiring skilled talent and strengthening partnerships with local businesses. “Our goal is to become the leading food delivery service in West Africa, offering convenience, quality, and affordability to millions,” Olajide said.
