Nigeria’s Charge d’Affaires in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Ibrahim Modibbo, Urges Stronger Coordination for Future Hajj Operations

Nigeria’s Chargé d’Affaires in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Ibrahim Modibbo, has called for enhanced coordination and synergy among all stakeholders involved in Nigeria’s Hajj operations to further improve the experience of pilgrims in future exercises.

Speaking in the aftermath of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, Dr. Modibbo acknowledged the progress made in this year’s operations but emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between the Nigerian embassy, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), state pilgrims welfare boards, and Saudi authorities.

He also stressed the importance of timely planning, transparent communication, and effective feedback mechanisms to ensure that Nigerian pilgrims continue to enjoy safe and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experiences.

Dr. Modibbo reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to supporting all Nigerian pilgrims and stakeholders and promised to work closely with NAHCON and relevant Saudi agencies to address lingering challenges in visa issuance, transportation, and accommodation.
