The NASFAT Youth SDGs Initiative, “Youth Up” celebrated a groundbreaking milestone with the conclusion of NaSHack for Impact 2025, a dynamic Hackathon focused on driving action toward the Sustainable Development Goals.

With the theme “Exploring Partnership for Clean Water, Sanitized Environment, and Safe Climate”, the event brought together 11 zones in a spirited competition of ideas, innovation, and impact. After hours of intense pitches and inspiring presentations, North-West Zone 1 clinched the top spot with an impressive 78.75 points, followed closely by Niger Zone (75.5) and Oyo Zone 1 (69).
Held in a vibrant atmosphere enriched by the presence of industry leaders, scholars, and spiritual guides, NaSHack 2025 signaled a new era where NASFAT youths move beyond advocacy to implementation of the Global Goals.
Participants were challenged to create scalable solutions for SDGs 6, 13, and 17, and the response was nothing short of visionary.
The event culminated in promises of mentorship, project incubation, and deeper community engagement for winning ideas.
As the NASFAT President, Alhaji AbdulRauf Ayodeji reaffirmed the society’s commitment to youth empowerment, the Youth Up Team Lead declared: “We’re not just dreaming the change, we’re building it.”
Congratulations to North-West 1 and all participating teams. The journey from talk to action has truly begun!
