The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated members of the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream One on the successful completion of their mandatory one-year national service.
In a goodwill message delivered to mark their official passing-out, the DG praised the Corps Members for their dedication, patriotism, and the positive impact they made in their respective places of primary assignment across the country.
“I congratulate you, our 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 passing-out Corps Members, on the successful conclusion of your mandatory service year,” he stated. “I believe your experience with the Scheme has provided you with many wonderful memories that will shape both your future and that of our beloved country.”
The Director General commended the sacrifices and contributions made by the Corps Members to community development initiatives, national unity, and grassroots transformation, emphasizing that their roles have not gone unnoticed.
He further encouraged them to uphold the values of the NYSC and continue serving Nigeria in their various future endeavors.
“I wish you great success in your future careers, whether in the public or private sector. Own Nigeria; serve Nigeria. Go forth and be our worthy brand ambassadors,” he added.
The NYSC remains a vital institution in promoting national integration and youth development. As the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream One members join the Scheme’s growing alumni network, the DG’s message serves as both a celebration of their efforts and a call to continued service and patriotism.
The passing-out ceremony was observed nationwide, with state coordinators and community leaders also commending the Corps Members for their service and urging them to remain responsible citizens wherever they go next.
