Oluremi Tinubu Commissions Renewed Hope Resettlement City in Nasarawa

Keffi, Nasarawa State – June 15, 2025

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has officially commissioned the Renewed Hope Resettlement City in Keffi, Nasarawa State, a flagship humanitarian project designed to provide dignified living conditions for vulnerable Nigerians.

The resettlement city, built under the Renewed Hope Initiative, offers modern housing units for 239 individuals, many of whom were previously displaced or marginalized. The estate includes essential facilities such as a fully-equipped clinic, solar-powered electricity, water supply systems, and a skills acquisition centre aimed at empowering residents economically.

During the commissioning ceremony, Senator Tinubu emphasized that the initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision to deliver inclusive development and restore hope to the underserved.

“This project reflects our commitment to creating safe, healthy, and sustainable environments for vulnerable groups in society. It is not just a shelter but a community of renewed possibilities,” the First Lady said.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the life-changing intervention, describing it as a beacon of hope and a step toward rebuilding their lives.

The Renewed Hope Resettlement City is one of several such projects planned across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
