Osun Amotekun Corps Arrests Suspects for Rape and Theft

Operatives of the Osun State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps, have arrested nine individuals for various crimes, including the alleged rape of minors, burglary, and theft across the state.

Among the arrested are:

Elijah Olawale (26), accused of sexually assaulting his nine-year-old daughter in Ijebu-Ijesha.

ThankGod Friday (26), alleged to have raped a 12-year-old girl in Modakeke.

Adeleke Sodiq (60), accused of raping a six-year-old in Ode-Omu.

Several others were arrested for burglary and theft in Atakunmosa Market and other locations.

The arrests were confirmed by Commander Isaac Omoyele of the Osun Amotekun Corps, who emphasized that investigations are ongoing and that the agency remains committed to ensuring public safety. Residents are urged to report suspicious activities to the authorities.
