President Tinubu: Let’s Pray for Our Troops, Be Our Brothers’ Keeper

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has urged Nigerians to remember the nation’s gallant troops in their prayers and embrace the spirit of unity, compassion, and collective responsibility, especially during the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

In a statement released by the Presidency on Wednesday, the President commended the sacrifices and resilience of the Nigerian Armed Forces in defending the country against various security threats. He called on citizens to support the troops morally and spiritually, describing their commitment as a beacon of patriotism and national service.

“As we celebrate this season of sacrifice, let us also remember our men and women in uniform who are on the frontlines, safeguarding our sovereignty and peace. We owe them our prayers and unwavering support,” the President said.

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of national unity and mutual care, urging Nigerians to embody the values of empathy, charity, and community spirit associated with the Eid celebration.

“Now more than ever, we must be our brothers’ keeper. Reach out to the less privileged, support your neighbors, and let the bond of our shared humanity lead the way,” he added.

The President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security architecture, supporting military personnel, and ensuring the welfare of all Nigerians.
