President Tinubu Set to Recommission International Conference Centre Today at 2PM

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to recommission the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja today, Tuesday, at exactly 2:00 p.m., marking a significant milestone in the Federal Government’s renewed commitment to revitalizing national infrastructure.

The iconic facility, which has hosted some of the country’s most historic events since its original commissioning in the early 1990s, has undergone extensive renovations aimed at modernizing its structure, improving functionality, and restoring its global reputation as a premier venue for diplomatic, governmental, and cultural engagements.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the recommissioning underscores President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes infrastructure renewal, national pride, and the repositioning of Nigeria as a leading destination for international conferences and investment dialogue.

Dignitaries from within and outside the country are expected to grace the occasion, including top government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and key stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

The revamped ICC now boasts upgraded halls, enhanced security architecture, smart conferencing technology, and an improved visitor experience, making it befitting of Nigeria’s status as Africa’s most populous and dynamic nation.

Today’s event is expected to further project Nigeria’s readiness to host high-level global gatherings and reinforce the Tinubu administration’s agenda of building a modern and globally competitive Nigeria.
