Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has responded to a heartfelt poem shared by her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, reaffirming their love and addressing recent rumors about their marriage.
Nwoko, a prominent businessman and politician, took to social media on Thursday to celebrate their six-year journey as a couple while announcing that they are expecting their third child. His post also dispelled speculations of marital discord that had surfaced on social media in recent weeks.
Reacting to her husband’s declaration, Regina took to Instagram to express her admiration and unwavering commitment, writing:
“Oooh my king! The greatest man in Igbo land! Dike’m! Obim! Ezigbo dim Oma! What did I do to deserve this honour! 10,000 women by your right, 20,000 by your left, and I will stand gidigba because what we share will remain the first in history.”
Her response comes amid online speculations fueled by her recent removal of Nwoko’s surname from her Instagram bio, which many had interpreted as a sign of tension in their union.
In his poem titled “Six Years Later…: She Still Can’t Resist Me,” Nwoko not only reaffirmed his love for Regina but also addressed critics, making it clear that their relationship remains strong. He further emphasized that their bond is beyond public perception and urged detractors to desist from spreading false narratives.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, has often been in the media spotlight due to their unconventional age difference. However, they have continuously showcased their affection for each other, with Regina actively supporting Nwoko’s political and philanthropic endeavors.
