Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the former Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Rabiu Olowo, on the occasion of his 40th birthday.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised Olowo’s contributions to Lagos State’s financial reforms, describing him as “a young technocrat with a deep passion for public service and fiscal responsibility.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted Olowo’s remarkable achievements during his tenure, including Lagos’ improved credit rating and multiple recognitions for excellence in public financial management.
He also expressed confidence in Olowo’s continued contributions to nation-building, noting that his milestone age of 40 marks the beginning of greater service to Nigeria and humanity.
The governor prayed for continued wisdom, health, and success for the celebrant in all future endeavors.
Dr. Olowo, who holds a Ph.D. in Management, served in the Lagos State Executive Council from 2019 to 2023, and is currently engaged in various national and international financial advisory roles.
