Saudi Girl Scouts Launch Mina Camp to Support Pilgrims During Hajj 2025

June 2, 2025 – Mina, Saudi Arabia — In a significant move to enhance services for pilgrims during Hajj 2025, the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has inaugurated a dedicated camp for girl scouts in Mina. This initiative aims to empower female scouts to actively participate in assisting pilgrims, reflecting the Kingdom’s broader goals of inclusivity and community service.

Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudaris, Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association and General Supervisor of public service camps, emphasized the transformative role of the girl scouts. He noted that the progress in the girls’ division aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives, highlighting the importance of empowering women in various sectors.

Princess Sama bint Faisal bin Abdullah, Head of the Girl Scouts Committee, attended the camp’s opening and praised the scouts’ competence and dedication. She highlighted the significant developments in the girls’ camps, particularly in terms of equipment, planning, and execution, underscoring their readiness to serve the pilgrims effectively.

The girl scouts are set to provide various services, including guiding female pilgrims, offering assistance at key sites, and ensuring the smooth flow of activities within the camps. Their involvement is part of a broader institutional plan emphasizing quality and innovation in serving the guests of God during the Hajj season.
