The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud — may God protect him — has directed that Salat al-Ghaib (funeral prayer in absentia) be performed today across all mosques in the Kingdom.
According to the Royal Court, the prayers will be held after Asr at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, and in mosques throughout Saudi Arabia.
The solemn directive reflects the Kingdom’s tradition of honoring the deceased with nationwide prayers, reinforcing solidarity and unity among Muslims in moments of loss.
