Senate President Senator Akpabio has officially announced on the floor of the Senate that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assented to the bill upgrading the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, to the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro.
The landmark approval marks a significant milestone for Ilaro, transforming the town into a university hub. The bill, sponsored by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA, has now been enacted into law by the National Assembly.
