The incident, which involved a fully loaded petroleum tanker experiencing a mechanical fault, triggered panic among residents and commuters in the area. However, prompt intervention by personnel from the Kano State Fire Service, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and other emergency units ensured that the situation was professionally managed without casualties.
Authorities swiftly cordoned off the area, controlled traffic flow, and deployed fire prevention equipment to the scene, effectively neutralizing the risk of explosion or spillage.
