Zamfara Gov Clears ₦13.9 Billion Gratuity Debt Owed Retirees Since 2011
Abuja, July 9, 2025 Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has announced that his administration has settled a backlog of ₦13,944,039,204.64 in gratuities owed to retirees between 2011 and 2023. Governor Lawal made the disclosure at the Government House in Gusau on Tuesday while receiving a report from the joint committees overseeing the payment of outstanding gratuities.
