Residents Flee After Gunmen in Mafia-Style Attire Storm Anambra Community
Anambra, July 9, 2025 — Terror gripped the people of Ekwulobia in Aguata LGA, Anambra State, on Wednesday morning as armed men, reportedly dressed in mafia-style outfits, invaded the community, triggering widespread panic and deadly violence. Eyewitnesses said the gunmen arrived in Toyota Sienna vehicles and began firing indiscriminately, forcing residents to flee their homes in terror.
