Kaduna, June 20, 2025 – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded the developmental strides of Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, describing his leadership as a model of progressive governance and pledging increased Federal Government support for the state’s infrastructure and economic growth.
The President gave the commendation during a working visit to Kaduna, where he commissioned several landmark projects executed by the Uba Sani-led administration. Among them were a 300-bed specialist hospital, the rollout of compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to promote clean energy transportation, and newly completed road infrastructure within the metropolis.
Addressing the crowd at the commissioning ceremony, President Tinubu praised the governor’s performance, noting that Kaduna has witnessed a significant transformation in a relatively short time. He acknowledged the state’s strategic importance and assured the people of Kaduna that the Federal Government remains fully committed to partnering with state authorities to deepen development and improve livelihoods.
“You have a governor who is focused, dynamic, and dedicated to service. What I have seen here today affirms that Kaduna is on the right path. My administration will continue to work closely with Governor Uba Sani to ensure that these gains are consolidated,” the President said.
He also called on other state governors to emulate the Kaduna model, emphasizing the need for people-centered projects that address healthcare, transportation, education, and economic empowerment. Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and pledged continued investment in subnational development efforts.
In his remarks, Governor Uba Sani expressed gratitude to the President for his visit and support, stressing that the projects commissioned were part of a broader agenda to build a more resilient, equitable, and prosperous Kaduna State.
The President’s visit was attended by top government officials, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and an enthusiastic crowd of residents who turned out to welcome the nation’s leader.
The event marks another chapter in the Federal Government’s ongoing push to strengthen collaboration with states and deliver tangible development to citizens across the country.
