Tinubu Approves Executive Directors for North Central Development Commission

Abuja, Nigeria | September 16, 2025

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of five Executive Directors to the board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).
The announcement was made on Tuesday in Abuja in a statement by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The appointees and their portfolios are as follows:
Hajia Biliquis Jumoke Sanni – Administration and Human Resources
Aisha Rufai Ibrahim – Commercial and Industrial Development
James Abel Uloko – Corporate Services
Prof. Muhammad Bashar – Finance
Princess Atika Ajanah – Projects
According to the statement, the Executive Directors are expected to support the Commission in actualising its statutory mandate of promoting and coordinating sustainable development across the North Central geopolitical zone, which covers Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau States, and the Federal Capital Territory.
The NCDC was established in February 2025 following the signing of the North Central Development Commission Bill into law by President Tinubu.
