The Muslim Congress (TMC), a leading Islamic faith-based organisation in Nigeria, has finalized arrangements for a high-level national leadership workshop aimed at enhancing the capacity of its key officers nationwide. The two-day event is scheduled to hold from Friday, April 25 to Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Oluwatoyin Ojobaro Memorial Mosque, located within the Federal Government Housing Estate in Batoro, Sagamu, Ogun State.
According to information made available to KIIN360 through Muslim News, the leadership training is one of several initiatives designed by the TMC national headquarters to strengthen the organisational efficiency of its leadership and ensure optimal delivery of its strategic objectives. The sessions, which will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, will convene selected leaders and representatives from branches and local government areas across all geopolitical zones of the country.
Themed “The Big Picture Leadership”, the workshop will focus on broadening the vision and leadership acumen of participants in line with TMC’s mission to raise morally upright, intellectually sound, and socially responsible Muslim leaders. It also aligns with the organisation’s long-standing commitment to capacity building and leadership development as critical tools for community advancement.
The organisers have confirmed that the workshop will be facilitated by three highly respected professionals with proven track records in leadership, education, and technology. Among them is Dr. Zafaran Adeniyi, the Chief Executive Officer of Vanguards Academy, renowned for his educational leadership and policy influence within the Muslim community. He will be joined by Engr. Tajudeen Oladoja, CEO of PM Ideals, a project management consultancy firm, and Ustadh AbdulAzeez Adelopo, the Chief Executive of Ictify Solutions, known for his innovative approach to digital transformation and strategic leadership.
Stakeholders have described the workshop as timely and impactful, especially in light of the socio-religious dynamics facing faith-based organisations in Nigeria. TMC’s proactive approach in building internal leadership capacity, they argue, serves as a model for similar groups seeking to drive meaningful change within their communities.
As preparations intensify, the TMC leadership has assured all participants of a well-organised and spiritually uplifting experience, emphasizing that the workshop is not just a gathering but a catalyst for rethinking leadership in the context of Islamic values, national development, and global relevance.
