Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Urges Global Jewish Communities to Stop Netanyahu and End the Devastating War

In the midst of the escalating conflict between Iran, led by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and Israel under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has issued a passionate appeal to the global Jewish community. Maduro called on them to intervene and pressure Netanyahu to halt his military campaign, which he described as a “hellish war” tearing apart the region and causing immense suffering.

Maduro’s statement comes as tensions continue to rise between Tehran and Tel Aviv, following a series of missile attacks and retaliatory strikes that have intensified fears of a broader regional conflict. The Venezuelan leader condemned the violence, emphasizing the urgent need for peace and calling for an end to the hostilities that have already claimed numerous lives and left communities devastated.

Highlighting the significant role that global Jewish populations can play in influencing Israeli policy, Maduro urged them to speak out against the current military actions of Netanyahu’s government. He appealed for unity and diplomacy, stressing that the cycle of violence only deepens wounds and destabilizes not only the Middle East but the wider international community.

The conflict, which has involved Iranian ballistic missile strikes targeting Israeli cities and military sites, including a recent attack on Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, has drawn widespread condemnation and sparked calls for restraint. Maduro’s intervention adds a notable voice from Latin America to the chorus urging an end to the violence, underscoring the global concern over the unfolding crisis and its far-reaching consequences.
