Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to restoring security and ensuring citizens live without fear. He acknowledged the challenges of insecurity, particularly banditry, which have threatened peace and stability in the state. Despite many families suffering losses and communities living in fear, Lawal assured residents that his administration is working tirelessly with security agencies to tackle these threats .
The governor commended security agents for their efforts in fighting banditry and expressed optimism that the problem would soon be over. He noted that scores of bandit-terrorists are being eliminated, and the fight against banditry is recording remarkable success.
Lawal also emphasized the need for economic growth and infrastructural development, highlighting his administration’s efforts to improve education, healthcare, and road networks. The construction of the Zamfara International Airport is progressing steadily, aiming to boost economic activities and provide opportunities for economic prosperity.
