ABUJA — Former Nigerian Minister of Education, Dr. Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili, has been appointed as an Advisor to the Club de Madrid, a prestigious global organization comprising more than 100 former presidents and prime ministers from over 70 democratic countries.
The Club de Madrid announced the appointment this week, noting Dr. Ezekwesili’s extensive record in public service, international development, and advocacy for transparency and good governance.
Dr. Ezekwesili, who shared the news via her official X (formerly Twitter) account, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the forum’s mission of promoting democratic values and inclusive leadership around the world.
