FRSC Osun Command Receives Operational Kits from Corporate Partners to Boost Road Safety

Osogbo, July 2, 2025 — In a strategic boost to its operational readiness and public-private partnership agenda, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun Sector Command, has received vital donations of branded raincoats and reflective jackets from two prominent companies based in the state.

The donation, made on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, aligns with the Corps’ Corporate Strategic Goals for the year, which advocate for enhanced stakeholder collaboration in funding at least 30% of road safety programmes.

Sam-Ace Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Ltd donated 100 branded raincoats and 100 reflective jackets, while Abebi Foods Ltd contributed an additional 25 branded reflective jackets to support the Command’s field operations.

Receiving the items at the Sector Command headquarters in Osogbo, the Osun Sector Commander, Corps Commander Leye Adegboyega, fsi, expressed deep appreciation on behalf of the Corps Marshal, FRSC management, and the entire staff of RS11.1.

“This gesture is timely and highly commendable. Reflective jackets and raincoats are critical to our daily operations. They not only guarantee the safety and visibility of our personnel, especially during adverse weather conditions, but also serve as a morale booster in the discharge of their duties,” Adegboyega stated.

He also reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to maintaining high standards in its road safety enforcement and education programmes, adding that partnerships such as this significantly support their mission.

Speaking during the presentation, the Managing Director of Sam-Ace Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Sam Olawoye, and the CEO of Abebi Foods Ltd, Mrs. Adebisi Ganiyat, both applauded the professionalism of the FRSC and pledged their continued support.

“We view our support to the Corps as a patriotic responsibility. Ensuring the safety of Nigerians on the roads is a collective duty, and we are proud to be part of this effort,” Dr. Olawoye said.

The event underscores the growing role of private sector collaboration in achieving safer roads and reflects the FRSC’s success in mobilizing stakeholders for national development.
