The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially commenced its nationwide recruitment exercise, calling on qualified and interested Nigerians to apply for various positions across the four paramilitary services.
In a public announcement on Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Board disclosed that the recruitment covers roles for Superintendents, Inspectors, and Assistants within the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
Positions and Qualifications:
Superintendents – Applicants must possess B.Sc., HND or M.Sc. from recognized institutions.
Inspectors – Minimum of NCE, National Diploma (ND), or an equivalent qualification.
Assistants – Candidates must hold at least an SSCE certificate.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
Age must fall between 18 and 35 years.
Male applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall, while female applicants should be no less than 1.60 meters.
Applicants must be physically and mentally fit and free from any criminal conviction.
The CDCFIB emphasized that each candidate is allowed to apply for only one of the four services and that multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
The recruitment portal is currently open and will remain accessible until the deadline of August 4, 2025. Interested applicants are advised to submit their applications online via the official website: recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
The Board also cautioned the public against patronizing fraudulent agents or paying money to secure placements, stating that the process is free, merit-based, and transparent.
