Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has risen to third in the world women’s 100m hurdles rankings following her silver medal performance at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

The world record holder, 28, moved up from ninth place after accumulating 1,430 points. She now sits behind only the United States’ Grace Stark, who leads the rankings, and Switzerland’s newly crowned world champion Ditaji Kambundji in second.
