YouTube to End Monetization for Repetitive Content, Prioritise Original Creators from July 15
Lagos, July 9, 2025 YouTube has announced a major policy shift set to take effect from July 15, 2025, that will see content creators uploading repetitive or low-effort videos demonetised, as part of its effort to promote originality and improve viewer experience on the platform. The company made the announcement in an official update to
