Kano, Nigeria – June 2, 2025 | The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, mni, has expressed deep condolences to the people and government of Kano State following the tragic road crash that claimed the lives of 22 athletes on May 31, 2025. The athletes were returning from the National Sports Festival held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Representing the Corps Marshal during a condolence visit was the Zonal Commanding Officer, RS1 Kaduna, Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Ahmed Umar, who was accompanied by Sector Commanders and other senior FRSC officials from the Kano State Sector Command.
