Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the well-being of residents, following a rousing reception at Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.
Addressing supporters after his arrival and subsequent move to Government House, the governor described the turnout as humbling and a testament to the people’s confidence in his leadership. He noted that the show of solidarity underscored the strong bond between his government and the citizens of the state.
Fubara assured residents that his administration would continue to deliver policies and programmes aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing public welfare. He added that the goodwill expressed at the airport served as renewed motivation to uphold the trust placed in him.
The governor also announced plans to address the state formally later in the day to acknowledge contributions toward restoring calm in Rivers and to outline the next steps of his administration.
