The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) has commenced construction of its national secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. This milestone project aims to strengthen corporate governance, enhance professional development, and provide a hub for knowledge exchange and policy discussions.
ICSAN President, Funmi Ekundayo, emphasized that the new secretariat represents the institute’s commitment to advancing corporate governance, administration, and ethical leadership in Nigeria. The project aligns with ICSAN’s long-term vision of establishing a workspace that fosters research, training, and policy formulation in corporate governance.
Vice President Uto Ukpanah commended the initiative, stating that the new secretariat will enhance ICSAN’s operational efficiency and solidify its reputation as a leading authority in corporate governance. The institute aims to promote ethical leadership across both public and private sectors, providing an enabling environment for research, advocacy, and capacity building.
Upon completion, the secretariat is expected to serve as a professional hub for administrators, company secretaries, and governance experts. It will provide a platform for training, research, and policy development in Nigeria, further cementing ICSAN’s role in shaping the country’s corporate landscape.
